Meet The Founder

Leila A. Billings is an energetic and community-focused attorney. She focuses on helping individuals start, build, and grow their businesses.  As an attorney and business owner with a Master's in Business Administration she has a unique perspective to help those working towards the American dream of business ownership. She is dedicated to providing guidance, exceptional service, and resolution to the legal "stuff" business owner's would rather just avoid.
 
Ms. Billings graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s in Psychology and went on to enroll in a dual program at Nova Southeastern University. During her education, she worked full-time while attending the law school evening part-time program. After a notable amount of hard work, she graduated with a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate.

Leila has worked as both a business and trial lawyer for the last 10 years.  She worked on multiple aspects of business law, commercial litigation, as well as plaintiff personal injury litigation including negligence, premises liability, and wrongful death. She has worked on hundreds of cases, from client intake to trial and post-trial motions. . Leila continues to help people injured by big corporate negligence, including those hurt by medical devices and pharmaceutical drugs.


Ms. Billings has been actively involved in her community throughout her career. She works as the founder and managing director for Attorneys for H.O.P.E., a 501c3 providing pro bono legal services to first responders, law enforcement, veterans, and military service members. She has also earned several community service awards including the Heart of Broward Community Award for over 400 hours of service with Volunteer Broward.  She also founded and manages a STEAM Education program for low income students.
